Welcome!

This blog is dedicated to the activities of my students. It is not intended to trumpet my own activities or shill products or anything else that seems self-aggrandizing, except to the extent that it is my enormous pride in my students and their accomplishments that motivates me to write it.

I hope to populate the blog with entries on the musical activities of my current students; on their recitals, collaborative experiences, teaching, outreach performances, interactions with guest artists, etc. I also plan to write articles on technique and other guitar-related topics, and offer spotlight features on alumni, so all can see where they are and what they are doing now.

The studios referenced are at both The University of Akron and at Oberlin Conservatory. In addition, there will be mention of some of the students I've worked with privately over the years.

Welcome, and enjoy!
