Annual Guitar Studio Party at the Aron's House

Every year my wife and I invite the Guitar Studio to the house for a party. We usually have a bonfire. Lots of food, including our signature home-made donuts, fortify the gang and a plethora of musical instruments inevitably come out of the closets and lead to a big jam session. Here are some photos of the latest edition.

After eating, we went out to start the fire. It had rained for two days so the burn pile was not cooperating. The guys were game to help me get it going.

We started out blowing. Here is Mohit blowing on it, with Collin, Aidan, Julia and Brian taking turns.

Then we turned to using poster board as hand-held bellows. This worked a bit better.

Finally, it caught.

It was a big one.

Our old friend Mir Ali was visiting, and strolled through the proceedings playing and singing Arabic music while two beautiful Gypsy women followed him, belly dancing (my wife and stepdaughter).

Resettling in the house, the music starts. Mir plays the drums (a kit sized for a 3-year-old, and gifted to our grandson ten years ago, but still serving its purpose), I'm on banjo, Mohit on recorder and Aidan on bass, etc....

The accordion finally came out, and the evening ended with a few tangos. We had some fun!
